| By Steve Following six days of tough running through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Andy Symonds and Tom Owens of Team Saab Salomon took an incredible second place in the Trans Rockies Run - despite the injury that Tom has been suffering since the Mountain X race in July.
The last two days were particularly tough with two back-to-back three hour runs but Andy and Tom held their second place to finish just behind the race favourites Nike/Rogue Valley Runners when they crossed the finishing line at Beaver Creek.
